Highlight of our day out

Walking along the south bank near the national film theatre we came across this boat trip at festival pier. I wasn't that bothered but my wife wanted to go on it - and thank heavens she did. A really exciting way to see the sites of London from The Thames. We went at a leisurely speed past (or should that be under) Tower Bridge and then Paul opened it up all the way to Canary Wharf where we did some great turns at high speed before heading back just as quickly until we reached Tower Bridge once more when we had to slow down. An interesting commentary followed (did you know that the previous London Bridge was bought by a Missouri millionaire and can now be found in Arizona). Why anyone would want to amble down the river when you can do this beats me. The only problem is that it has to end, it really is that good, 50 minutes of thrills, I cannot recommend it enough.

What People Say

Ahoy there Rob and Tony!
Thank you, thank you, thank you for a fab trip and for the photos for Jasmine’s birthday. It is definitely the most fun I’ve had on the water! Oh, and the history stuff’s not bad either! Thank you both for being so hospitable. We will certainly be recommending you and to bring others with us for a second trip next summer. See you again soon.

We all loved the speed up at Canary Wharf but the kids really loved all the stuff about the history of pirates and Captain Kidd – Execution Dock gave us all the shivers.
With very best wishes
